Irv Lyons Jr. is a talented vocalist, guitarist and composer who has a distinctive sound drawing from Latin influenced jazz, as well as Country and Blues while still embracing his Native American Roots. He has graced the stage with such talents as: Earl Slick,  John Popper, Terrance Simien, Dickie Betts, Coco Montoya, Jackie Greene, Kenny Wayne Shepard, Indigenous, GRAMMY Winner Joanne Shenandoah and Jana. Irv is Currently recording a new release at Subcat Studios in his stomping grounds Syracuse New York.  Stay tuned for more developments.

Irv Lyons Jr. has been nominated for 7 NAMA Awards! 

Songwriter, Irv Lyons Jr., has been nominated for four Native American Music Awards, including ‘Best Rock Recording’ and ‘Artist of the Year’ for Private Invitation off of his newest EP of the same name. Irv also was nominated for ‘Best Male Vocalist’ and ‘Song of the Year’ for Save The Planet (Right Now), featuring Joanne Shenandoah.  Rex Lyons, his cousin Irv, and The Ripcords, were nominated for “Group of the Year’ ‘Best Blues Recording’ from The Ripcords album ‘Unmasked (Live).’ They were also nominated for ‘Best Blues Recording with the group West Side Social Club which includes blues-rock legend, Earl Slick.
