Irv Lyons Jr. is a talented vocalist, guitarist and composer who has a distinctive sound drawing from Latin influenced jazz, as well as Country and Blues while still embracing his Native American Roots. He has graced the stage with such talents as: Earl Slick,  John Popper, Terrance Simien, Dickie Betts, Coco Montoya, Jackie Greene, Kenny Wayne Shepard, Indigenous, GRAMMY Winner Joanne Shenandoah and Jana. Irv is Currently recording a new release at Subcat Studios in his stomping grounds Syracuse New York.  Stay tuned for more developments.

Irv has been nominated for many awards from both the NAMA’s and Syracuse Area Music Awards. With The Ripcords, he has won Best Americana Album. This year, Irv is nominated with Irv Lyons Jr. and The Light comprised of many musicians from CNY and beyond. A compilation album highlighting his songwriting skills with others performing his originals. Sisters and Brothers, is nominated for Song of the Year and Best Rock Recording. With The Ripcords he is nominated for Best Blues Recording and Best Music Video Performance.
